On October 10, 2023 the lake association stocked  400 pounds of walleye fingerlings at two different locations in Clitherall Lake. The average fingerling size was roughly 4”, or 25 fingerlings per pound. That equals roughly 10,000 young walleyes! This investment, which hopefully translates into a better fishing in the future, is all due to the generosity of our lake association members who funded the effort!

Also note that this stocking is in addition to the stocking that the Minnesota DNR stocks into the lake. In 2023, the DNR also stocked 400 pounds of fingerlings.
